What is Tile’s Warranty Policy?
Each Tile comes with a one year warranty which begins from its purchase date. If you are a Tile Premium Subscriber, you may be eligible for an extended three year warranty depending on the type of Tile you have.

My Tile is within Warranty and has stopped working, how do I receive a replacement Tile?
We are here to help! First, check out our help page or contact us so we can determine what the issue may be and if there is a way to fix it. You can even request a call so our Care Team can walk you through troubleshooting by phone!
If your Tile is within warranty and our team is unable to resolve the issue, we will be happy to provide instructions on how to receive a replacement.
Please contact us here with your warranty claim and have proof purchase available as we may request it in order to verify warranty eligibility.
To authorize a replacement, we will request a few details regarding your order and the issue you encountered.
Once your replacement request has been authorized, we will send you a replacement RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number, details regarding your replacement shipment, and instructions on how to return and exchange your defective Tile. The RMA# identifies and authorizes a defective Tile that has been returned to us.
Once you receive your RMA#, please note that it may take up to 1-4 business days for your replacement to ship out. Your replacement Tile will also arrive loose in an envelope that contains only the Tile. The original Tile packaging is not included.
What should I do with my old Tile once I received a replacement Tile?
Our team would love if you could help us eliminate excess waste and keep batteries out of landfills by recycling your defective unit at your local e-waste center. Some participating retail locations near you may also have e-recycling centers.
We’ve made it easier for you to responsibly dispose of old Tiles. In 2018, Tile initiated a relationship with Total Technology Results to be the first to include their database feature in our app. Thanks to this partnership, you can now see a list and get directions to the e-waste recycling centers nearest you in the United States (iOS only right now).
- In your Tile app, tap on the “Settings” icon (looks like a gear) in the upper right corner of your screen.
- Scroll down and click on “Recycle Tiles.”
- You’ll get a convenient list of nearby recycling centers.
- Click on a location and your maps application will open with directions to this center. Be sure to give them a call to make sure they're open!
