If you know your Tile is nearby, but your app is showing that it’s not connected, there are a few things you can try to re-establish the connection between your Tile and your app!
Double-check your settings
It never hurts to take another look. Make sure that your Bluetooth and Location Services are turned on on your device, and that you have an internet connection through data or wifi. Refer to our Permission Settings article for easy-to-follow steps to enable these settings.
Try to reboot your device or refresh your Bluetooth connection.
With an iOS: The Bluetooth settings path is the same across all iOS devices:
- Tap on Settings
- Tap on “Bluetooth”
- Flip the On/Off button to toggle Bluetooth on or off
With an Android: General Android Bluetooth settings:
- Tap on Settings on your Android device.
- Look for "Bluetooth" or the Bluetooth symbol in your settings and tap it.
- There should be an option to enable or disable it. Please tap or swipe on it so that is in the "on" position.
Find your Tile
Tap on the Tile icon of your item. When the circle around the Tile is solid green, tap “Find” and your Tile will start to ring!
