It doesn’t happen often, but it does happen: you’re standing right next to your Tile with the app open and it just won’t connect. Fortunately, it’s pretty easy to get your Tile connected again!
Please make sure your phone and your app are updated to the latest version. These updates frequently resolve technical issues, because they improve general performance and reliability.
If upgrading didn’t solve the problem, you can follow the steps below to troubleshoot:
- Turn off your phone or tablet for 30 seconds, then turn it back on.
- Turn your Bluetooth back on and reopen the Tile app.
- Be patient - it could take up to 2 minutes for your Tile to reconnect.
If this doesn't work, try to Reboot your Tile by pressing and holding on to the Tile button for 10 seconds.
